Lesson 1.1: What are the roles and responsibilities of different staff members during the apprenticeship

Have you ever witnessed someone being excluded from a group, activity, or opportunity because of their background, abilities, or circumstances? (Reflect on how that exclusion impacted the individual and the wider group. How did it affect their ability to succeed and participate fully?) 

Have you experienced or observed an environment where all individuals, regardless of their differences, were actively included and supported? (How did this inclusion help foster a sense of belonging, improve engagement, or lead to success? What steps were taken to ensure everyone felt valued?) 

Think about how social exclusion and inclusion might play out in an apprenticeship or workplace environment. (Consider how certain barriers might prevent some individuals from accessing opportunities, and how inclusive practices can help overcome those barriers.)
