Module 10

Module 10 aims to equip mentors with the tools to support apprentices in career planning and development. By the end, mentors will be able to provide personalized guidance, create skill development programs, address employment barriers, facilitate networking, and offer emotional and social support.

Lesson 1

Covers the importance of soft skills like communication, emotional intelligence, empathy, leadership, and decision-making. Mentors will learn methods to enhance these skills in apprentices through practical exercises and real-world examples.

Lesson 2

Focuses on key workplace skills such as professionalism, work ethic, time management, organization, teamwork, problem-solving, and critical thinking. Mentors will explore strategies to help apprentices become more effective and efficient in their roles.

Lesson 3

Provides tools and knowledge for career planning and orientation, including personalized career guidance, skill development programs, addressing barriers to employment, networking opportunities, and offering emotional and social support. Mentors will learn to guide apprentices from disadvantaged backgrounds, ensuring they have the resources and support needed for success.
